Shadow Keepers

Wraps arms around her.
"Wanna talk about it?" I said quietly. I felt cold and awkward in my pajamas.

Sighs and starts to pull away a bit, realizing the coldness,
still wearing only my lacy tank top and shorts, skin cold against his.
Laughs weakly and humorlessly.
"I dont think you would really care about everything that happened...about family issues."

"I never had a family. It's more interesting to me than you think.."
Leans back against wall, edging away, putting space between us.

Reaches behind me, knowing theres an open window. Reaches inside the window and grabs a thick blanket.
Tosses it to him.
"There was just....alot that happened...in the past.."

Gives blanket back, since she seems to need it more.
"I kind of figured that out."

Smiles and pushes blanket back, shaking head.
"Full royal vampire remember? I don't get cold easily."

"Vampire, supposed to be royal.. I don't really get cold." I replied

Bites lip slightly, wanting to lean on him again with his arms back around me but doesn't move. Distracts self with a piece of grass.
"Supposed to be?"

"When daddy goes evil and mama disappears, you pretty much lose any chance." I said.

Laughs slightly.
"Yea pretty much..Alexa and I are the last ones in our line.....which is why they kept us around. They think our powers will be useful in the future..destined for greatness they say." Rolls eyes.
"We're nothing different from anyone else though. Our powers are just...extra packaging. Nothing great I guess.." Sighs, still distracting self to stay in place by twirling piece of grass in hand.

"You'll keep the line going won't you?" I asked.

Smiles slightly and nods.
"I've seen it. Well..bits and pieces.. Strongest vision I've ever had....it was actually really amazing though. Not like a splitting head ache like my visions usually are, really good detail.." Bites lip and blushes slightly, knowing i'm sounding like a total dork and starting to ramble.

"Keep going.." I whispered.

Smiles a bit and starts talking again without hesitation.
"The vision was amazing. I even saw what the..kids, looked like. Well, kind of. Everything was in great detail...nothing I've ever experienced...usually my visions are really blurry and give me a head ache. Like my head is splitting over. I saw everything but the father though..." Makes disappointed and worried face.
"Which kind of worries me, considering almost everyone in our family was forced to merry someone....except for my great grandmother though." Smiles.
" She went against the rules. married the person she wanted to. But she died pretty earlier because of..."
Cuts off, biting lip, face looking a mix of sad and worried.

Frowns. "Oh." I muttered.

Nods softly and smiles.
"But I'm going to be like her. Marry who I want. not who they force me too."
Makes disgusted face and sticks tounge out.
"Its gross to have a kid with someone you don't love."

Laughs.
"Yeah. So who do you want?"

"Huh? Oh..oh..um..I um.."
Cheeks turn pink, blushing slightly over words, un sure what to say.
Bites lip trying to stop rambling and seeming like a complete dork.

Laughs quietly.

Laughs too, pushing him lightly and playfully,
"It isn't funny! Your making me sound like a complete moron!"

Laughs
"Your doing that to yourself! But you never answered my question,"

Smiles and leans against him again, resting chin on his shoulder so can look up at him.
"Find out for yourself smart one." Laughs a bit, cheeks still slightly but noticeably red.

"Whats that supposed to mean?"

Laughs a bit and leans up a bit, kissing his cheek lightly then jumps up and runs down the hill.

"Whoa." I whispered. Then I ran after her.
