The Darkness
The darkness is something we all have to face.
Whether it’s in the night, or in our hearts.
We have our days, we have our moments.
Those days when the world crashes down.
Those moments when the darkness consumes us.

Its those days that the darkness is what we fear most.
Its those days that we wish the sun could stay out forever.
Rather set below the horizon to be replaced by its rival.
The darkness can be peaceful, scary, and dangerous.
But when the darkness becomes everything you’ve ever feared…
What can you do?
What can you do…
When you realize…
That you… Are the darkness.

Emotions
We learn to hide our emotions.
We learn to numb the pain.
Feel it only when we are alone.
When the sun sets and nobody can hear us cry…
Our emotions spill out flooding us, drowning us.
We feel alone, like no one can see us.
We feel as if no matter how loud we scream, nobody even looks up.

Heart Breaking Contradictions
My head spins.
My heart pound.
My breath falters.
My vision fogs.
These are the things you do to me.
My head tells me to keep my distance.
But my heart keeps pulling you closer.
Im scared of you.
But I want you.
I love you.
But I hate you.

Because of You
Because of you…
The tears pour down my face.
Because of you…
I learned trust is easier said than done.
Because of you…
I cant love.

You said you loved me. You said I was your world.
But one day you left me. And never came back.
You did to me what you promised never to do.
You broke every promise you had ever made.
You abandoned me.
You destroyed me.
You broke me.

And now…
Nothing is left.
But dried up tears and a broke heart.
You made me this person.
This person is the thing I had always feared.
